Elena Agostinis is a bold creative force, best known for her fearless use of color, eclectic design sensibility, and commitment to joyful living. Her homes and approach to wearable art and fashion have been featured in publications and admired by design lovers worldwide for being unapologetically expressive, deeply personal, and utterly unforgettable.
Elena’s background in graphic design, her years at Condé Nast, and her experience running boutiques all shape her joyful visual language. Her signature style layers family treasures, outsider art, quirky upcycled pieces, and one-of-a-kind finds from around the globe. Each home becomes an immersive, livable work of art. Each piece of jewelry turns overlooked materials into remarkable wearable works. Each choice is intentional and bold.
What began as a personal passion turned into a community transformation when Elena painted her Tannersville, NY, home in wild, truly eye-catching, beautiful colors. The love of the designs and the number of visitors ignited the Tannersville Paint Project. A public initiative to repaint and revitalize Main Street storefronts, contributing to the town being selected in 2021 for the $10-million-dollar New York State Downtown Revitalization Initiative award. The award had never before been won by such a small village.
In addition to her design work, Elena and her husband Mark travel and share their time between Hamilton, Montana, and San José del Cabo, Mexico. Elena also serves as Chair of Bulamu Healthcare, a nonprofit that provides lifesaving care to communities in Uganda.
